How much is a Scrum Master worth?

It seems many people are very curious to see what Scrum Masters in South Africa are earning – in the last month we have been asked by scrum masters, recruitment agencies, contracting houses and companies…
As this is a fairly new role and one that people generally transition into from other roles, the salary brackets can vary quite a bit!
