Peter Halacsy, founder of Prezi, gave a great keynote at Agile Australia 2016. As soon as he started talking we knew he was our kind of person: Happy to admit that he tried agile and it didn’t really work for them. He also had a great sense of humour and willingness to swear on stage (we only heard foreigners do this at Agile Australia).
I think what endeared Peter to us most what his willingness to call bullshit on Steve Jobs’ idea of hiring ‘A’ people. It’s more about the environment and how you treat people than ‘A’ vs ‘B’.
